Overall, the hummingbird's small size, colorful plumage, and graceful flight have made it a beloved symbol across cultures and time periods.

During my stay in British Columbia, I fell in love with the hummingbirds that inhabit the region. Coming from Europe where these birds are not found, it was a unique and delightful experience to see them up close every day. I had a feeder on my balcony, and it was always a pleasure to watch them drink from it. Their vibrant colors and quick movements made them captivating to observe, and I enjoyed their presence immensely. The hummingbirds of British Columbia have a special place in my heart, and I will always cherish the memories of seeing them during my time there.
